About

Sheila Jack Landscapes is a small design studio based in central London designing elegant, contemporary garden schemes for inspirational clients. The schemes are characterised by a genuine sensitivity to the existing landscape, precise attention to detail and effusive, naturalistic planting. We work alongside leading architects and interior designers and collaborate with highly skilled landscape contractors, craftsmen, nurseries and specialist designers to create a unique design for our clients.

Sheila came to garden and landscape design after a successful career as an Art Director. Amongst other roles, she was an Art Director of US Vogue in New York and of UK Harper’s Bazaar in London before deciding to pursue a lifelong passion for design, art, architecture and horticulture and re-train as a garden designer at the London College of Garden Design, Kew. She received the college prize for the ‘Top student’ and went on to work with leading UK garden designers: Emily Erlam; Marcus Barnett; Butter Wakefield and Wilson McWilliam Studio.

Sheila is a fully registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers and SGD Awards winner in 2021 and 2017. She collaborated with furniture designer Tom Raffield at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019, awarded five stars and was included in House and Garden’s 2022 ‘Rising star’ listing of ‘The brightest new names to know in architecture, interiors and garden design’
