Sheila Jack Landscapes is a small design studio based in central London designing quietly elegant, contemporary garden schemes for inspirational clients. The projects have a genuine sensitivity to the existing landscape, deceptively simple layout yet a wealth of form and texture, uncompromising attention to detail and immersive, naturalistic planting. We work alongside leading architects and interior designers and collaborate with highly skilled landscape contractors, craftsmen, nurseries and specialist designers to create a unique design for our clients.

Sheila came to garden and landscape design after a successful career as an Art Director. Amongst other roles, she was an Art Director of US Vogue in New York and of UK Harper’s Bazaar in London before re-training as a garden designer at the London College of Garden Design, Kew. She received the college prize and now returns as a visiting tutor

Sheila is a fully registered Member of the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers and SGLD Awards winner in 2021 and 2017. She collaborated with furniture designer Tom Raffield at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019, awarded five stars. In 2022, she was included in House & Garden’s ‘Rising star’ listing of ‘The brightest new names to know in architecture, interiors and garden design’ and then, in 2024 & 2025, named in the House & Garden list of the Top 50 Garden Designers
