Sheila Jack Landscapes is a small design studio based in central London, offering a unique and personal service, creating elegant, contemporary gardens that feel good to live in.
Juxtaposing strong architectural layout and precise detailing with beautiful, effusive planting is our hallmark. Sheila aims to create gardens which look wonderful throughout the year, changing with the seasons, choosing plants suited to their surroundings, which will endure over time.
Sheila came to garden and landscape design after a successful career as an editorial Art Director. Amongst other roles, she was an Art Director of US Vogue in New York and of UK Harper’s Bazaar in London before deciding to pursue a lifelong passion for design, art, architecture and horticulture and re-train as a garden designer. She graduated in Garden Design from the prestigious LCGD diploma course at Kew receiving the college prize for the ‘Top student’ and has worked with leading UK garden designers: Emily Erlam; Marcus Barnett; Butter Wakefield and Wilson McWilliam Studio.
Sheila is a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers, 2017 SGD Awards double winner and collaborated with furniture designer Tom Raffield on the design and planting of his trade stand for RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019, awarded five stars
